Computer animation appeared as a genre not so long ago but now it is used all over, its popularity goes up all the time. TV channels use it a lot to create their style. Audience perception depends on the way the TV channel designs its broadcasting greatly. Graphic captions appear before news or commercials very often.
By the way producers of commercials also turn to the computer animation more and more often.
